Mr. Shilongo specialises in financial markets, financial services, and banking regulation. He has advised clients on matters involving consumer and data protection, and export credit. His experience primarily involves the drafting of legal opinions relating to financial regulatory issues and advising on regulatory issues in the course legal negotiations and drafting of legal agreements and documents. He has advised a number of local and international clients on the regulatory issues which arise in the context of equity crowdfunding and peer-to-peer lending. Mr. Shilongo has a B Juris (UNAM), LLB (UCT) and is admitted as a an attorney of the High Court, LSNP.
