    Former South African Cabinet Minister, having served most recently until 2019 as the Minister of Energy and currently a Special Investment Envoy.

    Mr Jeffrey Thamsanqa “Jeff” Radebe is a former South African Cabinet Minister, having served most recently until 2019 as the Minister of Energy. Previous portfolios include Minister in the Presidency: Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation, and Minister of Justice and Constitutional Development. Radebe was South Africa’s longest continuously serving cabinet member, having been part of every national administration since 1994 and under every post-apartheid President. He holds a B.Juris degree from the University of Zululand and LLM in International Law from Leipzig University. He is the head of the ANC Policy Unit, and in the struggle against apartheid underwent military training with Umkhonto we Sizwe (MK). He was convicted under the-then Terrorism Act and sentenced to imprisonment on Robben Island.

    Mr. Radebe was appointed as a Special Investment Envoy by President Cyril Ramaphosa in 2019.

    Professor Mthunzi Perry-Mason Mdwaba is a serial entrepreneur, businessman, executive and passionate advocate for business in all its diverse forms and across developing and developed nations. He is a fierce defender of skills development, the conditions required for sustainable enterprises, business human rights and responsible business conduct and FoW expert.
    He is the founder, President and CEO of TZoro IBC, an investment and business consultancy, building on his career as an entrepreneur, deal-maker and negotiator. TZoro provides a very niched global strategic advisory service that involves brokering deals, human capital development coaching and mentoring interventions, leveraging the vast networking Mthunzi possesses spanning over 185 countries.

    Mthunzi is an Adjunct Associate Professor of Law at the University of the Western Cape (UWC), and has recently been re-appointed by the Minister of Employment and Labour as the Chairman of Productivity SA Board.
    Globally, he served as the first African since the ILO was formed in 1919, IOE VP to the ILO(187 Member States),Vice-Chairman of the ILO(Geneva, Switzerland)in 2017, Chairman of the IOE Business Human Rights & Responsible Business Conduct Policy Working Group until June 2021 when he did not renew his mandate to launch his campaign for the ILO DG in 2022. He is also a past Member of the Uber EMEA Advisory Group. He is the Chairman of the SANA(South African Norwegian Association)Board.

Shamiso joined Brand South Africa as Research Manager in April 2020, after having spent close to 10 years in National Security and Management Consulting spaces. She has demonstrated her research expertise in Market & Competitive Intelligence, Political Risk and Intelligence, Strategic Stakeholder Relations and Project Management. With a specialist background in the field of State Security and Intelligence, she has been able to create synergies that sought to not only mitigate risk, but also provide strategic advisory to establish systems and strategies that minimize emerging threats to the South African Nation Brand.
