DR KRISTIN ENDRESEN-MAHARAJ

Associate professor at the Institute of Pedagogy, University of Agder (UIA) and expert advisor to the Board of SANA.

Dr. Kristin Endresen is an associate professor at the Institute of Pedagogy, University of Agder (UIA). She holds a BA in Development Studies (University of East Anglia (UEA)), an MA in Community Development and Adult Education (University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN)) and a PhD in Adult and Higher Education (UKZN). Her core fields of expertise includes development theory, adult education pedagogy, learning theory, non-formal education, informal learning, critical thinking and education for democracy. She has tutored and lectured at the University of KwaZulu-Natal and is currently a lecturer at the University of Agder. She has worked as an eductor at a Norwegian adult education institute and has given advice to Kompetanse Norge. Dr Endresen has been a course facilitator to Fylkesmannen in Norway.
