Professor of Sociology at University of Agder

Anne Ryen is a Professor of Sociology at University of Agder, Norway. Prof. Ryen has been doing research in Norway and in East-Africa. Her research topics include Asian business, welfare benefits in private business, gender and gendering issues. She was member of the Management Committee of the pan-European COST Action on Femicide 2013-2017 across Europe and initiator and co-editor of a special journal on the topic.
